The role handles matters in assessment recovery, money judgments, bankruptcy, judgment execution, foreclosure, and other real property issues, with significant client contact and public speaking.

Ideal candidates have a JD and Tennessee bar admission, 0–5 years of litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or government litigation, and strong project management,

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in Tennessee.
• 0–5 years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing governmental organizations in civil matters.
• Demonstrated dedication and hard work in prior work experience.
• Experience using a Microsoft operating system and other sophisticated software.
• Availability during business hours, with some evenings and weekends for client meetings.
• Excellent personal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high project load and administrative staff.
• Independently handle all assigned cases in a diverse caseload.
• Chair client corporate meetings.
• Manage electronic task lists and billing.
• Advise clients on the status of cases.
• Draft complaints and answers, conduct discovery, and prepare witnesses.
• Take and defend depositions, engage in motion practice, and conduct trial preparation and trials.
