Gausnell, O'Keefe & Thomas LLC is a civil defense law firm located in Lafayette Square. The firm is seeking candidates to practice in the asbestos department. This position offers a strong opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on litigation experience, meaningful responsibility, and the chance to work directly with experienced trial attorneys in a supportive and professional environment. The associate can expect to be involved in all aspects of file workup including taking depositions, attending court hearings, preparing pleadings, and assisting with case strategy, among other responsibilities as they arise. Our associates gain practical litigation experience and play an important role in moving cases forward.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with strong communication, organizational, research, analytical and writing skills. The associate attorney should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet strict deadlines.
