Job summary

Topkins & Bevans seeks a real estate associate to conduct real estate closings and support related matters. The role emphasizes use of technology in legal practice and requires travel across Eastern Massachusetts. Training will be provided to ensure success.

In-person work is expected, with a full benefits package including health/dental/life and a 401K. The ideal candidate is admitted to the Massachusetts bar, holds a J.D., and is a MA notary.

Qualifications

Our law firm is seeking a new associate to conduct real estate closings. We are committed to the use of technology in its practice of law. We offer health/dental/life and 401K. The position requires travel throughout Eastern Massachusetts. Transactions are conducted during the day, evenings and some Saturdays. Training will be provided to make sure you are successful in your position. There will be additional real estate related issues you will be involved in. Applicant must be an attorney admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as well as an admitted notary public in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Qualifications:

• - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• - Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• -Approved as a Massachusetts Notary Public
• - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• - Familiarity with Real Property Law
