Job summary

Synectics Inc. seeks an experienced attorney to lead complex civil and commercial construction litigation from inception through resolution. You will advise owners, contractors, and suppliers, shaping strategies and client solutions while mentoring junior staff.

You will collaborate with business owners as a trusted advisor, stay current on industry trends, and contribute to a high-performing legal team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation and/or construction law experience.
• Strong experience handling complex and high-stakes litigation matters.
• Florida construction law experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with commercial construction disputes is strongly preferred.
• Strong client-service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex civil and commercial construction litigation from initial claims through trial, arbitration, or administrative proceedings.
• Handle high-value construction disputes, delay claims, contract disputes, and related litigation matters.
• Develop strategic legal and business solutions for contractors, owners, suppliers, and other sophisticated clients.
• Advise clients on project risks, legal exposure, business operations, and strategies for protecting their interests.
• Work directly with business owners and serve as a trusted legal advisor.
• Mentor and collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on complex matters.
• Manage litigation strategy, case development, and execution from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, prepare for hearings and trials, and handle other litigation responsibilities.
• Stay current on construction law, project delivery methods, and industry developments.
