DJC Law in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join our team to support U.S.-based clients. You will manage a high-volume caseload, negotiate settlements, and guide clients through pre-litigation with professionalism and empathy. Applicants must have a J.D.

from an ABA-accredited law school and be licensed in Texas or eligible to waiver into the Texas Bar with at least five years of active practice in another U.S. jurisdiction.

• 2-5+ years of personal injury experience

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from intake through settlement
• Evaluate cases for liability, damages, and value, and communicate assessments to clients
• Negotiate effectively with insurance adjusters to secure fair settlements
• Maintain ongoing client communication to ensure understanding of the case process and expectations
• Collaborate closely with case managers, investigators, and medical professionals to strengthen claims
• Draft demand letters, review medical records, and prepare case files for potential litigation

The ideal candidate will manage a high-volume caseload, focusing on negotiating settlements, communicating with insurance companies, and guiding clients through the pre-litigation process with professionalism and empathy.

This position is ideal for an attorney who is either licensed in Texas or has held an active license in another U.S. jurisdiction for at least five years and is eligible to waive into the Texas Bar.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year
