Ascendion's New Jersey-based law practice seeks a Litigation Attorney with 5–10 years of experience in commercial civil litigation, with a focus on real estate and land use. The ideal candidate will handle land use matters, zoning, and related disputes while coordinating with transactional teams.
Hybrid work in Warren, NJ is offered, with a strong client-centric approach and active leadership in the field. Active New Jersey Bar is required.
We're partnering with a well-established New Jersey law firm - with roots dating back to 1980 - known for its strength across commercial litigation, real estate, and land use matters. The firm serves clients throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida, representing everyone from large-scale commercial developers to first-time homebuyers.
The firm's land use team is genuinely embedded in the space - attorneys there hold active leadership roles with the NJSBA Land Use Law Section and serve as land use/zoning board counsel to multiple New Jersey municipalities, giving the group real influence and visibility in the field, not just courtroom experience.
Due to an active litigation pipeline and growing demand, the firm is looking to add an experienced litigator to the team.
Strong litigators without land use experience are still encouraged to apply - but candidates with zoning, planning board, or development-related litigation exposure will be prioritized.
