Job summary

TMV Global Inc in Mill Valley, CA seeks an attorney to independently manage cases with senior guidance, collaborate with the litigation team on complex matters, and oversee cases from intake through trial.

You will conduct thorough legal research on liability and damages, review medical records for serious injuries, coordinate with experts, prepare discovery responses, depositions, motions, settlements, and participate in hearings and trials.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice.
• Interest or experience in personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation.
• Proven litigation experience representing either plaintiffs or defendants.
• Strong legal research, analytical reasoning, writing and communication abilities.
• Trial experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish, is considered a valuable asset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned cases with guidance from senior attorneys when required.
• Collaborate with the litigation team on significant and complex legal matters.
• Oversee cases throughout the litigation process, from client intake through trial.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research involving liability, causation, damages, and applicable standards of care.
• Review and interpret medical records relating to traumatic brain injuries, paralysis, birth injuries, wrongful death, and other catastrophic injuries.
• Coordinate with medical professionals and expert witnesses to evaluate and strengthen case strategies.
• Perform factual investigations for matters involving motor vehicle accidents, trucking incidents, bicycle accidents, dangerous premises, and product liability claims.
• Prepare, review, and respond to written discovery requests.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions while taking and defending depositions.
• Research, draft, and argue pre-trial motions.
• Prepare persuasive demand packages, settlement proposals, and mediation briefs.
• Actively participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials.
