ACTS Law in California seeks a qualified attorney to join our civil litigation practice, with emphasis on personal injury and mass tort matters. The ideal candidate holds a JD, is admitted to the California bar, and brings at least three years of experience in civil litigation.

This role supports remote work with hybrid options in Encino, CA. You will draft complaints and motions, manage discovery, defend depositions, and help shape case strategy.

Qualificações

• Juris Doctor (JD) required.
• California bar admission.
• Minimum 3 years of civil litigation experience, with emphasis on personal injury and/or mass torts.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, including in remote settings.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and file complaints, pleadings, and other case-initiating documents in personal injury and/or sexual abuse mass tort matters
• Manage written discovery, including preparing and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
• Conduct and defend depositions, including preparing clients and coordinating with experts and co-counsel
• Research and draft substantive motions, including motions to dismiss, motions to compel, and summary judgment briefs
• Collaborate on case strategy, including liability analysis, damages evaluation, and settlement positioning
• Prepare cases for trial, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness outlines, and assisting with trial logistics
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to ensure timely and strategic case progression

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD)
• Admission to practice law in California
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a strong preference for candidates who have specific experience in personal injury and/or mass torts.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide concise and clear feedback.
