Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an Associate Attorney - Litigation in Los Angeles, CA to handle high-value personal injury matters from filing through trial. The role is full-time and onsite, with opportunities to work with seasoned trial attorneys and a supportive team.

The ideal candidate holds a JD from an accredited school, is admitted to the CA Bar, and has 1–3+ years of personal injury or civil litigation experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active California Bar license.
• 1–3+ years of litigation experience in personal injury or civil cases.
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills.
• Experience handling depositions, mediations, and motions.
• Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Client-centered approach with strong interpersonal communication.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of litigated personal injury matters from filing to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other documents.
• Attend and argue at court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Work with clients, experts, and medical providers to build case strategies.
• Oversee paralegals and legal assistants assigned to litigation cases.
• Maintain strong communication with clients to keep them informed.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and pre-trial preparations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex matters.
• Maintain case files and documentation per firm standards.

Based in Los Angeles, Our client is California's leading personal injury law firm, having recovered over $3 billion for thier clients. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our Litigation Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven attorney with a passion for advocacy and courtroom practice to handle complex and high-value personal injury cases from filing through trial.

The ideal candidate is confident, client-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment. You will work alongside experienced trial attorneys and litigation support teams while having access to a wide range of resources to help deliver exceptional results for our clients.

This is a full-time, onsite position based out of their Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities include:
