Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Attorney role based in Cleveland, OH. The Attorney will represent clients in personal injury matters, including case intake, evaluation, and strategy development. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, and providing clear legal advice to clients. The role involves negotiating with insurance companies and opposing counsel, preparing cases for settlement or trial, and appearing in court when necessary. The Attorney will collaborate with legal support staff, manage case files, and maintain thorough documentation to ensure effective and efficient representation.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law and demonstrated interest or experience in personal injury practice.
• Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law where relevant to injury and workplace-related claims.
• Ability to provide clear, accurate Legal Advice and communicate complex legal concepts in plain language.
• Proficiency in legal Research, including case law, statutes, regulations, and legal writing.
• Effective Negotiation skills for dealing with insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Ohio (or eligibility for admission).
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.
• Ability to manage a caseload, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in personal injury or civil litigation is preferred but not required.
