Job DetailsResponsibilities

• Handle a wide array of personal injury, premise liability, and insurance claims cases from inception to conclusion.
• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
• Engage in negotiations, mediation, and settlement discussions, striving for the best possible outcome for our clients.
• Conduct and defend depositions, draft pleadings, motions and briefs.
• Manage case files diligently, ensuring all relevant information, documents, and correspondence are recorded and stored appropriately.
• Communicate effectively and regularly with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and addressing their queries and concerns.
• Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest developments in law and in the legal industry.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Ohio State Bar.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, with a strong focus on personal injury, premise liability, and insurance claims.
• Proven experience in litigation, trials, hearings, mediation, and depositions.
• Exceptional case management skills with the ability to handle high case loads and meet deadlines.
• Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficient in legal research, with the ability to quickly and effectively understand and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a high level of initiative and dedication.
• Strong ethical and professional standards, including confidentiality, integrity, and respect for all clients.
