Confidential Employer in Norton, Ohio seeks an attorney to join a respected law firm, handling civil litigation, personal injury, family law, and criminal law with direct client interaction and growing case responsibility.

This role offers a $70,000 base salary and a base-plus-commission structure with total earnings up to $195,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, an HSA, PTO, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Bar license required.
• Litigation experience preferred but not required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining attention to detail.
• Recent graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil litigation, personal injury, family law, criminal law, and other general practice matters.
• Manage cases from intake through resolution with increasing autonomy and responsibility.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver outstanding client service.
• Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and practical legal guidance.
• Assist with additional practice areas including real estate, estate planning, and bankruptcy as needed.
