About the Opportunity:

We are a respected law firm with a strong focus on insurance defense litigation, seeking a skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team remotely. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive litigator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception to resolution
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
• Conduct and defend depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
• Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and trials
• Manage discovery, including written discovery and expert discovery
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients, insurers, and claims professionals
• Collaborate with internal teams while maintaining a high degree of autonomy

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
• Minimum 3 years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Strong case management and organizational abilities
