Job summary

Lazega & Johanson LLC, a boutique firm in West Midtown Atlanta, seeks a transactional associate with 4–7 years of experience to support our community association practice. You will draft and amend covenants and bylaws, interpret governance documents, negotiate service contracts, attend membership meetings, and handle developer turnover issues while ensuring compliance with state and federal law.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be admitted to practice law in Georgia.
• Real estate or corporate law experience is preferred.

Lazega & Johanson LLC is a boutique law firm specializing in the representation of community associations throughout Georgia.We are seeking a transactional associate with four to seven years’ experience to add to our community association practice in West Midtown Atlanta.Our transactional associates interact with boards of directors and other industry professionals, providing practical advice to all aspects of the day-to-day business of community associations.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and amending community association covenants and bylaws
• Governing document interpretation and enforcement
• Negotiating and drafting various service contracts
• Attending and presiding over membership meetings
• Developer turnover issues
• Community association compliance with state and federal law

Real estate or corporate law experience is preferred. Candidates should have excellent written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
