Our practice focuses on representing motorists facing traffic citations and related driving offenses throughout Georgia. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys courtroom advocacy, working directly with clients, negotiating with prosecutors, and independently managing cases across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in traffic and misdemeanor cases in courts throughout Southwest Georgia
• Appear regularly in municipal, probate, state, and other courts as required
• Negotiate with prosecutors to seek favorable resolutions for clients
• Advise clients regarding citations, license consequences, points, and available options
• Review case files and prepare matters for court
• Maintain professional communication with clients, prosecutors, court personnel, and firm staff
• Travel to courts throughout Southwest Georgia as necessary

Qualifications

• Active member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia
• Strong communication, negotiation, and courtroom skills
• Professional, dependable, and highly organized
• Comfortable handling a significant volume of cases
• Ability to work independently while remaining part of a statewide legal team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Criminal defense, traffic, DUI, or courtroom experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider the right candidate with strong advocacy skills
