Job summary

AlignMed Partners seeks a Fee-For-Service Attending Physician/Medical Director for the Pembroke Center in Pembroke, NC. This dual role blends clinical leadership with patient care; hours are flexible with no weekends or on-call requirements.

Candidates must be BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with LTC experience; geriatrics is desirable. The position offers leadership of clinical programs and collaboration with hospitals in a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred, with maintenance of certification.
• Geriatrics specialization desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take complete responsibility for patients admitted to their service.
• Visit assigned patients in a timely fashion according to policy.
• Comply with credentialing and medical staff rules.
• Coordinate with Center Medical Director to improve care in the facility.
• Work with administrators to ensure high-quality service and patient outcomes.
