Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee primary medical care for residents in skilled nursing facilities in Thief River Falls, MN. You will work with a dedicated NP or PA to ensure high-quality patient care, with potential to grow into a Medical Director role.

The position is part-time and focuses on delivering comprehensive care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team in LTC settings.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).
• Strong leadership skills to mentor NPs/PAs delivering care.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand/walk up to 6–8 hrs daily.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary care provider for SNF residents.
• Perform patient rounds with NPs/PAs to assess and manage care.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses; oversee chronic conditions.
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care with residents/families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and specialists to deliver comprehensive care.

Job Summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee and manage the primary medical care for residents at our facilities. In this role, you will act as the primary care provider for the patients, ensuring their overall health and well-being. You will have a dedicated full‑time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support you in this role, working collaboratively with you to provide excellent patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth, with the potential to evolve into a Medical Director/Attending Physician leadership role for candidates interested in expanding their clinical and administrative responsibilities within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), taking responsibility for their medical management
• Conduct patient rounds, collaborating with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care
• Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses while overseeing the management of ongoing medical conditions
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

• A board‑certified physician with experience in primary care and long‑term care (LTC)
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively support and mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6‑8 hours per day
