Job summary

America's Thrift Stores in Pell City, Alabama is seeking a part-time Shipping and Receiving team member. You will work outdoors at trailer sites, interacting with donors and providing friendly service while processing donations efficiently.

Join a team that handles donated items, helps sort and ship recyclables, and stays active in a fast-paced environment. Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work outdoors in varying weather.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Interact with donors to accept and process donations at trailer sites in an outdoor setting; provide outstanding service to all donors.
• Receive newly donated items from our Donations team.
• Help sort and ship recyclable items.
• Unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner.

What Happens in Shipping and Receiving Anyway?

• Interact with donors to accept and process donations at trailer sites in an outdoor setting; provide outstanding service to all donors

• Help us be green and sustainable, sort and ship recyclable items
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions
• Unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner
