Job summary

America's Thrift Stores - Vestavia Hills FDC, 1457 Montgomery Hwy, Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking a part-time Donations Associate to welcome donors, weigh and sort donations, and help keep the donation area neat and safe. You will join a diverse team in a fast-paced setting and support our community-focused mission.

Ideal candidates are 18+, provide friendly customer service, and adapt to weather changes while maintaining safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must provide outstanding customer service to donors and maintain a neat, presentable donations area.
• Be at least 18 years old and able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Able to work as part of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations from donors.
• Track and weigh donations collected.
• Share information about our mission with donors and customers.
• Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading trailers and donation boxes.
