Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking responsible team members to interact with customers and perform slot machine operations and simple maintenance. You will complete transactions, document cash and jackpot payouts, and communicate via two-way radios in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of applicable gaming regulations and company policies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Lift up to fifty pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, apply, and maintain a friendly rapport with customers and employees.
• Perform minor machine maintenance, such as lock/unlock doors, clearing jams, replenishing paper, and resetting machines.
• Complete written department forms to document cash transactions and jackpots.
• Carry and communicate by two-way radio.
• Conduct slot floor activities to protect property and funds; ensure safety and cleanliness of areas.
• Maintain secure key controls at all times.
• Pay and verify jackpot winnings and complete required documentation.

Job Description

Develop and maintain a positive rapport with customers. Completetransactions according to established procedures and maintain an accuratebank. Perform minor maintenance on machines such as clearing jams andresetting. Complete all requisite paperwork and records.

• Conduct slot floor activities to ensure protection of company property andfunds; and maintain the safety and cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Maintain secure key controls at all times.
• Pay and/or verify jackpot winnings to customers and complete requiredwritten documentation.
