Job summary

Premier is seeking a customer-focused Slot Attendant in Atlantic City to assist players, explain casino machines, and maintain high levels of service. You will handle machine issues, currency exchanges, and safety compliance while keeping the floor organized and welcoming.

English literacy is required; NJ Casino EE Registration is preferred or required. The role offers hourly compensation at the posted rate with opportunities for growth within a fast-paced casino environment.

Responsibilities

• Observe slot players in assigned area and assist with machines.
• Explain machine types and correct simple machine problems.
• Control and safeguard slot machine keys, radio, and Android devices.
• Report safety issues on the casino floor or in the building.
• Handle jackpot and paper fill transactions promptly and accurately.
• Stay informed about property events and relay details to players.
• Exchange currency for patrons using an impressed fund.
• Read and write in English; communicate clearly with guests.
• Address guest complaints and machine malfunctions; escalate when needed.
• Identify situations requiring supervisory personnel.
• Follow all company and department directives, policies, and procedures.
• Complete CTR, SARC, and W2-G forms as needed for jackpots.
• Complete annual AML/Title 31 training or equivalent.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and proper safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Observes slot players within assigned area and offers assistance, instruction and advice on the various types of machines in that area.
• Must be knowledgeable of the diverse types of slot machines and must be able to correct simple machine problems.
• Control and safety of issued equipment (Slot Machine Keys, Radio, Android devices)
• Report any knowledge of safety issue on the casino floor or in the building
• Handles jackpot and paper fill transactions promptly, accurately and with a high degree of customer service.
• Must be well versed on various property events and relay same to slot players in assigned area.
• Exchanges currency for patrons using an impressed fund
• Ability to speak English so that it can be understood.
• Must be able to read and legibly write English.
• Capable of handling routine guest complaints, incidents, and machine malfunctions.
• Capable of identifying situations that require supervisory personnel.
• Understand and comply with company and departmental directives, policies, and procedures.
• Completes CTR and SARC and W2-G forms when necessary for slot jackpots.
• Must successfully complete annual compliance training (AML, Title 31 or any essential training required)
• Maintains a clean and sanitize work environment with regards to personal safety standards when working or using equipment
• Other duties as assigned.

• Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Target Salary Range

• $15.92 hourly
