Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a Mezzanine Attendant responsible for racking barrier and non-barrier tubing at optimum output and yield to meet department goals and customer expectations. You will work safely, cooperate with team members, support multiple racks, and follow standard operating procedures to ensure correct formulations are produced and labeled properly on racks.

The role requires basic reading, writing, and math skills and offers a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Rack barrier and non-barrier tubing to meet output targets.
• Work safely and support department goals and customers' expectations.
• Support multiple racks and follow SOPs to ensure correct labeling and formulations.
• Communicate production changes and quality concerns to operators.
• Perform quality inspections and monitor for visual defects on racks.
• Follow supervisor directions and resolve issues based on data.

Job Description

Position Summary

The Mezzanine Attendant is responsible for racking barrier and non-barrier tubing at optimumoutput and yield meeting or exceeding departmental goals and internal and external Customers' expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform job functions in a safe manner at all times and to ensure the safety of coworkers.
• Work as a team member to ensure goals and objectives of the department are reached.
• Mezzanine Attendant must be able to support multiple racks as well as assigned racks whenneeded.
• Communicate effectively to relieve Operators and Mezzanine attendants when there arechanges to production orders and quality concerns.
• Perform quality inspections and adhere to Standard Operating Conditions and Standard
• Operating Procedures to ensure correct formulations are being produced and labeled properly on racks.
• Must have the ability to trouble shoot winders (tape width, buildup, cores, and splices) and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Must control quality by monitoring the racks for various visual quality defects such as edge increases, voids, gels, scratches and all other visual characteristics.
• Must be able to ensure accurate label and weight of tubing. Properly identify material being produced on winders
• Perform all duties as directed by supervisor

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience
• Requires basic reading, writing and math skills

Other Requirements

• Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications experience preferred
• Flexibility within a high-performance work environment
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
• Able to work without close supervision
• Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained
