Job summary

Sealed Air in Simpsonville, South Carolina is seeking a Mezzanine Attendant to rack barrier and non-barrier tubing at optimum output and yield, meeting departmental goals and customer expectations.

Pay is $19.25 per hour on the night shift, with duties including safe operation, teamwork, supporting multiple racks, and clear communication of production changes to ensure proper labeling and quality. A High School Diploma and 0-3 years of experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times to protect yourself and coworkers.
• Collaborate with team to meet department goals and objectives.
• Support multiple racks and assigned racks as needed.
• Communicate production changes and quality concerns to operators and teammates.
• Perform quality inspections and follow SOPs to ensure correct formulations and proper labeling on racks.
• Troubleshoot winders (tape width, buildup, cores, splices) and take corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor racks for visual defects and ensure accurate label and weight of tubing.
• Follow supervisor directions and complete duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Mezzanine Attendant is responsible for racking barrier and non-barrier tubing at optimumoutput and yield meeting or exceeding departmental goals and internal and external Customers’expectations.

Pay: $19.25

Shift: Night

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform job functions in a safe manner at all times and to ensure the safety of coworkers.
• Work as a team member to ensure goals and objectives of the department are reached.
• Mezzanine Attendant must be able to support multiple racks as well as assigned racks whenneeded.
• Communicate effectively to relieve Operators and Mezzanine attendants when there arechanges to production orders and quality concerns.
• Perform quality inspections and adhere to Standard Operating Conditions and Standard
  Operating Procedures to ensure correct formulations are being produced and labeled properlyon racks.
• Must have the ability to trouble shoot winders (tape width, buildup, cores, and splices) and takeappropriate corrective actions.
• Must control quality by monitoring the racks for various visual quality defects such as edgecreases, voids, gels, scratches and all other visual characteristics.
• Must be able to ensure accurate label and weight of tubing. Properly identify material beingproduced on winders
• Perform all duties as directed by supervisor

• Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications experience preferred
