Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate number of cars are kept on location throughout the shift, with proper parking and a clean, presentable lot.
• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors violating garage policies.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or in motor carts, if applicable.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Be punctual, in uniform, and present every scheduled day.
• Assist customers courteously, answering questions or directing them to the Facility Manager if needed.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as necessary.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and perform general maintenance tasks as directed.
• Report accidents, violations, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Report debris, water, or oil spills to the garage office.
• Substitute for Valets when authorized.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of garage areas, major streets, landmarks, and freeways.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination.

License: Valid state-issued driver’s license with a good driving record if expected to drive a company vehicle.

Availability: Ability to work various shifts, including 2nd, 3rd shifts, and weekends, depending on location needs.

Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions; perform basic math; maintain a neat appearance; and handle physical demands such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Additional Details

Salary: $20.50 per hour
