Hotel Per LA, is seeking a Room Attendant at our independent, luxury lifestyle property located in Downtown Los Angeles.

Sage Hospitality Group is currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and purpose-driven colleague to deliver artful hospitality at a newly rebranded and repositioned luxury flagship hotel and restaurant, formerly The NoMad Hotel Downtown Los Angeles.

The hotel is an independent, luxury lifestyle property located in Downtown Los Angeles. The property is housed in a beautifully restored historic building, close to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Disney Concert Hall, and Grand Central Market. It features stunning design details, including hidden corners for guests to explore, showcasing LA's glamor and playful side.

The hotel’s public areas serve as ‘the locals’ living room’ and are popular with local creatives, guests seeking cultural attractions, culinary experiences, or entertainment venues. The property boasts chic guestrooms with a vintage feel, a new restaurant - Per L'Ora, a café - Cafe Ora, and the rooftop pool terrace and lounge - Bar Clara.

Responsibilities include:

1. Retrieving items from shelves and storerooms, setting up cleaning carts, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness to enhance efficiency.
2. Cleaning windows, doors, walls, fixtures, and hard-to-reach areas using ladders or stools.
3. Replacing towels, soaps, amenities, and restocking supplies as needed for guest readiness.
4. Washing floors, dusting, polishing furniture, and cleaning fixtures.
5. Stripping beds and remaking with fresh linens, checking for cleanliness.
6. Inspecting and maintaining room safety, locks, and equipment functionality.
7. Securing equipment, keys, and supplies to protect hotel property.
8. Maintaining a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times.
9. Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• No formal education or experience required.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning principles, products, and equipment.
• Ability to understand instructions and communicate effectively.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continually.
• Push, pull, and move heavy furniture and equipment.
• Work with arms raised above head and maneuver loaded carts.
• Identify debris in poorly lit areas and read instructions.

Environment:

• Indoor climate-controlled environment with strenuous physical activity.
• Prolonged exposure to heat and humidity in laundry areas.
