Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Experience with Attendance/Truancy required.
• Home and School Visitor PK-12 Certification.
• Pennsylvania Dept. of Education clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Follow PA Department of Education policies and procedures.
• Provide instruction and support to parents and staff on attendance and truancy matters.
• Identify and implement methods to improve student attendance.
• Maintain metrics for reporting and tracking attendance.
• Serve as truancy liaison to districts and schools.
• Travel up to 75% of the time; travel expenses reimbursed.
