The South Hampshire College Group (SHCG) is seeking an Attendance Officer to join the Student Services team at Southampton College. This full-time, 37-hour-per-week role on a 40-week term-time contract focuses on promoting attendance, wellbeing, and achievement across the College.
You will monitor attendance, liaise with staff, safeguarding teams, students and guardians, and produce reports to highlight concerns and support engagement.
Salary £23,974 - £24,573 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.

We are seeking a dedicated Attendance Officer to join our Student Services team at Southampton College. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in promoting student attendance, punctuality, wellbeing, and success across the College.
This role is full time (37 hours per week) on a 40-week term-time contract.
As an Attendance Officer, you will monitor and support student attendance across the College, with a particular focus on students who may be vulnerable or at risk of disengagement. You will work closely with teaching staff, safeguarding teams, students, and parents/guardians to improve attendance and ensure appropriate support is in place.
Previous experience within education, attendance monitoring, student services, customer service, or administration would be advantageous.
