Crossroads Elementary School in Mount Washington, Kentucky is seeking a Clerical Assistant (Attendance Clerk) for the 2026-2027 school year. The Attendance Clerk helps run daily school operations by maintaining attendance records, handling absences and tardies, and preparing reports with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

The position is 11-month, 190 days per year with benefits, and hours are 6 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.
• Documentation: Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate student attendance records and ensure compliance with attendance requirements.
• Serve as primary point of contact for families regarding attendance.
• Process absences and tardies and prepare attendance reports.
• Work closely with staff to promote student success and confidentiality.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced school environment.
