Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Food Service Lead to supervise day-to-day operations in the Atrium Café under the guidance of the retail supervisor. You will coach associates, ensure timely guest service, and support kitchen staff during high-volume periods, including coverage in the supervisor's absence.

The role focuses on maintaining quality standards, staffing, regulatory compliance, and daily/weekly/monthly cleaning tasks, with an emphasis on leadership and operational oversight within the food

Qualifications

• CFPM certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Monitor activities in kitchen, dish room and retail food service areas to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
• Responsible for staffing, call offs / absences.
• Ensures that department meets all local, state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Under management direction will maintain standards of service and discipline according to policies and procedures established within the department.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are being completed daily / weekly / monthly.
• Oversee total food service operation in the absence of management.
• Supervise all day to day operations.
• Complete lead shift list daily / weekly / monthly.
