Job summary

Blackburn's Physicians Pharmacy in Tarentum, PA is seeking a passionate Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to evaluate patients and provide complex rehabilitation and mobility solutions. You will partner with clinicians throughout evaluation, funding, and delivery to maximize independence.

You will educate patients and caregivers, coordinate trials and fittings, and stay current on CRT technologies and reimbursement guidelines in a field-based role serving the Harrisburg region.

Qualifications

• ATP Certification is required or able to obtain.
• Experience with Complex Rehab Technology (CRT), seating/positioning, mobility equipment, or DME/HME.
• Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients in homes, hospitals, rehab facilities, and clinics to determine mobility, seating, and positioning needs.
• Recommend customized CRT and assistive technology solutions that maximize independence and quality of life.
• Partner with physicians, therapists, case managers, and caregivers through evaluation, funding, and delivery.
• Complete detailed clinical evaluations, product recommendations, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate equipment trials, fittings, adjustments, and final deliveries to ensure optimal function and comfort.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on proper equipment use and long-term success.
• Develop and strengthen referral relationships throughout the Harrisburg region.
• Collaborate with internal clinical, customer service, and operations teams for exceptional patient experience.
• Stay updated on CRT technology, reimbursement guidelines, and industry best practices.
