Job summary

ATI is hiring a Production Worker for the Atomizer department at the Oakdale, PA facility. You will participate in the process of forming powder from molten metal using high-pressure inert gas, preparing the melt chamber, and ensuring equipment is ready for atomization.

The role requires a general HS diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• General HS Diploma / GED required.
• Manufacturing, military or industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment.
• Weigh out raw materials and oversize powder to meet required product chemistry.
• Prepare heats efficiently and accurately to promote continuous atomization.
• Perform multiple refractory tasks.
• Thoroughly clean, assemble, inspect, and install all equipment required for melt preparation.
• Verify all equipment and materials are ready for atomization including documentation review.
• Perform removal and installation of the furnace into the melt chamber including digging out, grouting, and installing blanket and ground fault.
