Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field; relevant experience may substitute.
• US citizenship due to federal nature of work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience collaborating in a team to reach shared goals.
• Experience organizing inventory and maintaining accurate records.
• Experience troubleshooting electronics, networking, and low‑voltage circuits.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Support the Field Instrument Deployments and Operations (FIDO) Team at LANL; Earth and Environmental Sciences division.
• Assist daily operations of AMF1/AMF2 and perform inventory management, maintenance, and preparation.
• Travel up to 10% for training and site operations support of AMF1 in Phoenix, AZ.
• Build relationships with technical staff from national labs and research institutions.
• Manage shipments and procurements; ensure safety and code of conduct compliance.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
