Job summary

Cook Solutions Group in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Full Time ATM Service Technician with strong customer service and time management skills to fit our We Make It Happen culture. The role focuses on second-line maintenance for ATM banking products with emphasis on hardware and software problem diagnosis.

Location Santa Ana, CA; Pay $24–$34 per hour DOE. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, planning service calls, communicating ETA, escalation when needed, and teamwork with

Qualifications

• 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• NCR Certification is a plus
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Willing to train on security equipment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Performs basic installation on ATM products from multiple manufacturers
• Performs minor maintenance on ATMs (bulbs, card reader belts, air filters, etc.)
• Prioritizes and plans service calls
• Contacts customer with estimated time of arrival
• Escalates problems when appropriate
• Reassigns calls when appropriate
• Accurately reports service data
• Interacts professionally with customers and co-workers
• Supports preventative maintenance inspections on conventional products
• Maintains effective communication with Business Management Team and Service Technician Team members
• Provides maintenance on ATM banking products (diagnosis, component-level repair, application reload, planning spare parts)
• Develops knowledge of operating standards, practices and procedures
• Completes equipment cleanings as specified in service agreements
• Performs other related duties as assigned

What youll do

• 1Performs basic installation on ATM products multiple manufacturers
• 2Performs some minor maintenance on ATMs eg replacing light bulbs card reader belts air filters etc

• 4Contacts customer with the estimated time of arrival

• 7Accurately reports service data
• 8Interacts in a professional manner with customers and co workers to foster positive relationships
• 9Supports service technicians in performing preventative maintenance inspections on conventional products
• 10Maintains effective communication with Business Management Team and Service Technician Team members
• 11Provides maintenance on ATM banking products eg problem diagnosis component level repair application reload preventative maintenance documentation and planningmaintaining spare parts levels
• 12Develops a working knowledge of all operating standards practices and procedures
• 13Completes equipment cleanings as specified in service agreement
• 14Performs other related duties as assigned

What you bring

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 2 5 years related experience andor training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• NCR Certification is a plus
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Willing to train on security equipment
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl
• The employee must occasionally lift andor move up to 100 pounds and regularly lift andor move up to 50 pounds
