Job description

Convergint is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and safety-conscious Installer to join our team. The role involves installing banking equipment such as ATMs, vaults, safes, and pneumatic tube systems, along with general construction related to ATMs and other banking equipment. Field training will be provided.

Compensation range for this role is between $20/hr to $25/hr.

What You'll Do with "Our Training and Your Experience"
  1. Participate in our Recruit Awesome People program to help grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture.
  2. Be skilled in at least one of six areas, including safely transporting and installing ATMs, vaults, safes, and related systems.
  3. Install, program, test, repair, and service various banking systems and equipment, including remote systems and audio/video equipment.
  4. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace components, performing preventative maintenance as needed.
  5. Handle complex installations and identify potential project challenges, communicating effectively to minimize deviations from plans.
  6. Inspect work for compliance with specifications and standards, referring complex issues to higher levels.
  7. Estimate costs, time, and materials for replacements.
  8. Maintain and calibrate equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
  9. Act as "our customer's best service provider" at all times, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  10. Collaborate with team members to improve operations and provide feedback for product and process improvements.
  11. Stay informed on company policies and present a professional image at all times.
  12. Perform other duties as required.
What You'll Need
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance.
  • Self-motivated with good teamwork skills.
  • Construction experience (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and physical workload.
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Must pass high-level security clearance.

Requirements

Education: High School/GED or equivalent.

Preferred Experience: Technical diploma, trade experience, or 1 year ATM rigging experience. Basic construction experience is a plus.
