Barnhart Energy Company, a sister company of Barnhart Crane and Rigging, is looking for Riggers (Uptower Leads) to join the Wind Services team.

Rigger (Uptower Lead):

A field-based position that provides uptower crew leadership from project start through mechanical completion of the scope of work, working closely with the Construction Manager and subcontractors to ensure safe and high-quality execution.

Core Responsibilities:

• Support the Construction Manager in leading a highly efficient and productive team by responsibly executing tasks uptower.
• Motivate crew members to overcome challenges in work environment, schedule, or technical problems.
• Guide team members on troubleshooting and achieving first-time excellence, utilizing torque and tension tooling techniques.
• Serve as a role model for an uptower crew team member.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of 2-3 OEM turbine platforms.
• Experience with wind turbine installation and mechanical completion.
• Ability to lead others following instructions.
• Ability to think ahead of current tasks.
• Must pass a Fit for Duty exam.
• Ability to operate specialized equipment and tooling.
• Proven experience as a Signalman/Rigger.
• Proficiency with basic technology and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
