Job summary

4G Clinical is seeking a Business Applications Engineer to administer Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and related tools across production and sandbox environments.

You will gather requirements, design solutions, and support change management while collaborating with leaders to drive efficient workflows and cost-effective automation. The role blends hands-on platform administration with stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced life sciences tech setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or equivalent field.
• 2+ years hands-on administering Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and translate them into solutions.
• Experience integrating cloud-based business tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across org levels.
• Self-directed with multiple priorities and projects.
• Willingness to learn scripting/coding for automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and related tools across production and sandbox environments.
• Provision accounts, manage access controls, upgrades, and backups.
• Build and maintain integrations with Tempo, Birdview, and EazyBI.
• Provide best-practice guidance for workflows and tool usage.
• Administer Zendesk, qTest, HubSpot, Celigo, and others as needed.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline tool stack processes.
