GM Performance Power Units in Concord, North Carolina, is seeking a Reliability Data Analyst to support development, testing, and trackside operations of our Formula 1 Power Unit. The role blends data engineering with reliability analysis to build dashboards, pipelines, and models that help the team detect health issues and guide decisions for race performance.

The ideal candidate has strong Python scripting skills and ATLAS expertise, plus the ability to communicate complex data in engineering

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Aerospace engineering (EE/CS with powertrain exp acceptable).
• 3–6 years in a data-intensive role in motorsport, aerospace, or high-performance auto powertrain.
• ATLAS expertise: configure workbooks, math channels, and monitors; hard requirement.
• Experience in reliability, test, or powertrain development influencing decisions.

Mansioni

• Configure and maintain ATLAS workbooks, displays, and automated analyses across dyno, factory, and race environments.
• Examine PU telemetry to identify anomalies, overload events, and early-warning signatures.
• Develop ATLAS functions and condition monitors to automate failure detection.
• Apply engineering judgment to data and communicate implications to the reliability team.
• Build and maintain dashboards and post-session reports on PU health and fault status.
• Develop Python scripts to automate recurring data processing tasks.
