Job summary

HLB Gross Collins is seeking Spring 2028 and Summer 2028 Tax Interns to join our Atlanta, GA office. This internship offers a hands-on introduction to a tax busy season at a premier mid-sized Atlanta accounting firm.

You'll work on diverse client engagements, prepare state and federal returns, research tax laws, and develop skills with various tax software under the guidance of a dedicated mentor. Qualified juniors or seniors pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting with a 3.4/4.0 GPA or

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or related field.
• Overall GPA of 3.4/4.0 minimum.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of client engagements during tax season.
• Prepare state and federal tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Identify and assess domestic and international tax matters.
• Research tax laws and apply them to engagements.
• Collaborate with staff and mentors to solve tax issues.
• Develop proficiency with tax software.
