PYA, a leading independent professional services firm in Atlanta, seeks a Tax Intern for the January–April 2028 period. This role supports income tax preparation for C corps, S corps, partnerships, LLCs and individuals, and assists with payroll tax returns and client planning.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a bachelor degree in accounting or related field required.
• Ability to apply skills previously learned through demonstrated technical agility on a variety of assignments.
• Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
• Openness to feedback, and a desire to pursue personal excellence.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation of income tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, Partnerships, LLCs, and individuals
• Help prepare payroll tax returns, 1099 forms, and personal property tax returns
• Assist with tax planning for clients
• Provide bookkeeping assistance to clients
• Compile and review clients’ financial statements and management reports
