Job summary

Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) in Atlanta, GA seeks a Senior Architecture Project Manager/Project Architect to lead design through construction, guiding delivery with senior leadership and ensuring client satisfaction.

You will develop scopes, schedules, and budgets, coordinate with cross‑discipline teams and consultants, and oversee QA/QC, RFIs, submittals, and project closeout. Strong communication and mentorship are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferred.
• Certification as a licensed professional, preferred.
• Expert knowledge of leading a successful Architecture Practice.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical and professional skills.
• Must be able to listen and communicate effectively.
• Must be a self-starter, team player and able to establish good working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, team members, and other employees.
• Must be able to perform work-related travel and have a valid driver's license.
• Must be local to GMC office.

Responsibilities

• Supports the delivery of architectural projects from design through construction under guidance of senior leadership.
• Develops project scopes, schedules, and budgets while coordinating with internal teams and consultants.
• Maintains client communication and day-to-day project activities to support delivery.
• Assists in QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Coordinates with internal teams to align design intent across disciplines and prepare documents.
• Responds to RFIs and reviews submittals during construction.
• Contributes to development of improved workflows, tools, and design practices.
• Maintains consistency in CAD/Revit usage across projects.
