Job summary

Air Transport International in Ohio seeks a First Officer to support the Captain in safe, efficient flight operations across our fleet. You will ensure compliance with FAA rules, company procedures, and flight procedures while coordinating with the crew.

Responsibilities include pre-departure preparation, post-flight reporting, and stepping in for the Pilot-in-Command as needed. A strong qualification profile and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted FAA ATP with multiengine rating and 1,500 total hours including 500 multiengine hours.
• Unrestricted FAA ATP with multiengine rating and 1,500 total hours as a military pilot.

• Assist Pilot-in-Command as delegated by the Pilot-in-Command.
• Be familiar with FAA regulations, company manuals, flight procedures, and bulletins.
• Assist in pre-departure and post-flight documentation and reporting.

Job Functions

• In general, the duty of the First Officer is to assist the Captain in the performance of all duties relative to the safe and efficient operations of the aircraft
• Assist the Pilot-in-Command in the operation of the aircraft as delegated by the Pilot-in-Command
• Be familiar and comply with FAA regulations, company manuals, flight procedures, operations bulletins, and other instructions pertinent to his/her duties
• Assist the Pilot-in-Command in preparation before departure and after each flight by completing necessary documents and reports associated with flight operations
• Other duties as assigned

Required Job Skills and Certification (One of the two requirements below)

• Unrestricted FAA ATP with multiengine rating and 1,500 total hours including 500 multiengine hours
• Unrestricted FAA ATP with multiengine rating and 1,500 total hours as a military pilot

Preferred Job Skills

• Boeing 757/767 experience preferred
• 100 hours of flight time within the last 12 months preferred

Other General Requirements

• Current FAA first-class medical certificate
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to qualify and maintain a US Government secret clearance
• Legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Valid Passport allowing travel throughout the world
• Ability to clearly communicate with co-workers; stand, bend, and reach; sit for extended periods of time; and comply with ATI attendance requirements.
