Job Description
Typical duties may include but are not limited to:
- Coordinates and oversees video production includingpre-production meetings, concept development, script development,filming, production, directing, editing, and archiving.
- Produces creative advertising, highlights, event and featurevideos for 15 NCAA DI sports, providing turnkey short post-game dayvideos and clips, hype videos, promotional and advertisingmessages, green screen material, and sponsor videos for website,social media, and advertising. Produces in-house content forvideoboards.
- Recruits and schedules talent for shoots in accordance withdepartment and university policies and procedures
- Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration ofcameras, audio, video recorders, and other productionequipment.
- Develops new techniques, systems, and procedures to enhanceoperations and address issues.
- Suggests workflow, analyses redesign and implements newprocesses and best practices.
- Reviews progress and evaluates results.
- May provide video production training and development servicesto enhance team skills in videography, video editing, storytelling,and content creation.
- Complies with all University and ASUN Conference regulations,as well as all NCAA rules and regulations. Remains current with allchanges in NCAA, as well as changes to University and ASUNConference rules and regulations regarding intercollegiateathletics. This includes the requirement for self-reporting anypossible rule violations and participation in the annual NCAA test,if applicable. Any violation of NCAA rules is prohibited and mayresult in disciplinary action up to and including termination ofemployment.

Required Qualifications for Athletics Videographer LevelI:
- This position requires either five years of directly relatedfull-time experience or, as an alternative, a Bachelor's degreefrom an accredited institution in communication, journalism,photography, media production or a related field and one year offull-time experience directly related to the job functions.
- Professional full-time experience in video production, conceptdevelopment, filming and editing.
- Experience with non-linear editing software, such as AdobePremiere.
- Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience,and/or certifications may be considered.

- This position requires either six years of directly relatedfull-time experience or, as an alternative, a Bachelor's degreefrom an accredited institution in communication, journalism,photography, media production or a related field and two years offull-time experience directly related to the job functions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proven ability to think strategically and approach challengeswith creativity.

- Knowledge of NCAA and ASUN Conference rules and regulations asthey pertain to the job duties.
- Knowledge and ability to recognize and implement video,broadcast production techniques and standards, branding andmarketing principles.
- Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AdobeCreative Suite.
- Knowledge of lighting and sound recording techniques, specialeffects, 3D, and compositing.
- Knowledge of storyboard scripting and ability to collaborate aspart of an "in-house" creative team to fulfill goals as assigned ina quick turn-around, D1 Collegiate sports environment.
- Knowledge of formatting video and gifs for integration with orinto social media.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize andcomplete simultaneous projects within deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively ina team environment.
- Ability to work successfully as both a member of a team andindependently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with staff,faculty, students, and the community in a service-orientedenvironment.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions tocomplex issues.
- Ability to design promotional and marketing materials includingbrochures, newsletters, posters, on-line banners, ads, reports, andnews and magazine features.
- Ability to operate a personal computer for extended periods oftime.

Athletics Videographer Level II- Pay Grade 16
Applicants will be evaluated for roles as either AthleticsVideographer I or Athletics Videographer II based on theirqualifications.
