Job summary

UMBC Athletics is seeking a dedicated ticketing and marketing professional to manage all ticketing operations and drive revenue growth. You will cultivate relationships with season ticket holders and groups while coordinating with marketing for outbound efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• One year of experience in ticket sales, or marketing & promotions or related field.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Creative and well-versed in ways to increase athletics ticketing revenue.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in basic computer software.

Responsibilities

• Season ticket sales, corporate packages, partial ticket plans, group tickets, and individual game tickets.
• Manage game day ticketing duties; supervise staff at each event.
• Oversee home M/W soccer, M/W lacrosse, and M/W basketball ticketing and service duties with staff execution.
• Collaborate with Athletics Administration to enhance outbound ticket sales strategy and season ticket outreach.
• Manage materials related to season and group ticket packages.
• Oversee communications and outreach surrounding group ticket sales in conjunction with marketing team.
• Compile and track ticketing financial data including revenue, attendance, and settlements.
• Ensure control and distribution of all tickets per policies and NCAA regulations.
