Job summary

The University of Chicago's Athletics & Recreation Department seeks an Athletic Aide I to maintain and set up athletic facilities and equipment for activities and events. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Responsibilities include setting up and taking down equipment, field and court maintenance, occasional vehicle operation, cleaning fitness gear, assisting with deliveries and errands, and keeping storage areas organized.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write and follow instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor, students, staff, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and takes down equipment for indoor/outdoor activities.
• Maintains field and court lines and equipment.
• Operates department vehicles and assists with deliveries.
• Cleans fitness equipment and organizes storage areas.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
