Kaplen JCC On The Palisades in Tenafly, NJ is seeking an Athletics Business Operations Manager to oversee finances, registrations, scheduling, reporting and partnerships. You will support the Athletics Director, optimize operations, and ensure accurate records while delivering strong participant experiences.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, analytical, and customer-focused, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in business operations or athletics administration.
• Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and systems.
• Experience in youth sports or nonprofit settings preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related field is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile participant payments, invoices, and program income.
• Monitor outstanding balances and oversee collections.
• Process refunds, credits, transfers, and financial adjustments.
• Manage athletics program registrations and enrollment.
• Maintain accurate participant records and registration data.
• Manage program setup, updates, and maintenance within registration platforms.
• Coordinate scheduling and facility usage across courts and fields.
• Develop and maintain community outreach and partnerships.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual performance reports.
• Assist with safety training and risk management procedures.
