Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Two years in athletic department or a high-demand office setting.
• Familiarity with the language of sports.

• High degree of judgment, discretion and confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Experience collaborating with senior-level decision-makers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work varying schedules in athletic department.
• Proficient in Office, Google Suites, and PowerSchool.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in urban school district.

Responsibilities

• Assist athletic director with tracking the athletic department budget.
• Process purchase orders for signature.
• Assist with MHSAA and conference eligibility forms.
• Maintain master schedule of home and away events.
• Schedule event management personnel.
• Coordinate travel, lodging, and accommodations for road trips.
• Support during tournaments and submission of forms.
• Maintain confidentiality of student-athlete records and district information.
• Attend meetings and keep written records (booster clubs, team, parent meetings).
• Post rosters, revise schedules, and manage athletic webpages.
