Job summary

Harper College in Palatine, IL is seeking a part-time Athletics Office Assistant to support the Athletics and Fitness department serving 13 collegiate teams. Responsibilities include answering phones, copying, scanning, sorting mail and assisting with special projects; the role trains the right person, with preference for Excel/Word familiarity and good customer service.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., up to 20 hours per week, fall and spring semesters.

Qualifications

• Education Requirements: Harper College Student registered for at least six credit hours in fall or three credit hours in summer.
• Experience Requirements: Some experience in an office setting preferred but not required. Will train the right person.
• Special Notes: A cover letter and resume may be directly attached to your application; however, this is not required.

Responsibilities

• Duties of Position: General office work in the Athletics Office: answering phones, making copies, scanning documents, sorting mail, special projects and other tasks as needed.
