Job summary

Boston College is seeking an Assistant/Associate Director, Athletics Leadership Giving to secure annual leadership gifts ranging from $10K to $249K. You will manage a portfolio of about 150 athletics donors and prospects and are expected to complete a high volume of meetings and solicitations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of frontline fundraising for Assistant Director or 3–5 years for Associate Director, with frequent travel and after-hours events to support BC athletics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years frontline fundraising experience for Assistant Director; 3–5 years for Associate Director.
• Proven record of soliciting and closing annual cash gifts at the Assistant Director level ($10,000–$25,000) and Associate Director level ($25,000+).
• Ability to travel, work evenings and weekends as needed to support events and fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities

• Solicit alumni and parents for annual leadership gifts ($10K–$249K).
• Manage a portfolio of ~150 athletics donors and prospects; meet targets for contacts and solicitations.
• Collaborate with gift planning, athletics development, school development, and organizational giving teams to maximize productivity.
