Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a directly related field and 4 years of progressively responsible professional experience in budgeting, financial management, accounting, or financial operations; or a bachelor’s degree in an equivalent field and 6 years of such experience.
• Experience developing and managing complex operating and capital budgets.
• Experience providing financial analysis and reporting in support of management decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional financial leadership for the Athletics department and act as the dedicated finance partner to the Director of Athletics.
• Develop, monitor, and forecast the Athletics operating budget; produce financial reporting and analysis.
• Advise the Director of Athletics on the financial implications of operational decisions, including student-athlete revenue sharing.
• Coordinate with central finance functions and campus budget staff to maintain internal controls and reporting accuracy.
