UMBC seeks a Sr. Associate Athletic Director, Business & Finance to oversee the Athletics Department’s $18M operating budget, lead financial reporting, purchasing and payroll, and head HR for staff and coaches.

The role partners with university leadership to ensure alignment with campus strategy. You will drive strategic financial planning, implement internal controls, coordinate audits and deliver timely forecasts.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 7 years of experience in Business Finance, Accounting or comparable experience.

Mansioni

• Direct and oversee the Athletics Department’s $18M operating budget.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, purchasing, and payroll functions for Athletics.
• Provide timely financial analysis, multi-year forecasting, and progress reports to Athletics leadership.
• Manage internal controls and coordinate external and internal audits.
• Lead HR functions including recruitment, hiring, onboarding and employee relations.
